Hey, I’m Jaykstah.

This site is a hub for all of my public projects as well as my personal blog.

I’m an independent creator from Huntington Beach, California. As of now I’m mainly focused on making music but I also do gaming videos with my homies and put out some written blog posts.

Some misc. info about me:

I’m a big proponent of free and open source software. I produce music on Arch Linux using an open source DAW called Ardour.

I’ve been doing music in some form most of my life. I took piano lessons for a few years as a kid, guitar lessons for a few more, and trumpet starting in middle school which I stuck with through the end of high school doing both wind ensemble and marching band. Junior year of high school I joined a ska band with some good friends which lasted until late 2018. I released my first self-produced song “Abyssal Love” in early 2019 have been loving the process of learning and getting better at producing music ever since.

I like to skate and ride bikes. Living in a beach town, nothing beats skating down to the shore on a summer day with a solid breeze.
